Welcome to ittybitty bluesky and thank you for stopping by our shop! We love making unique, handmade baby items, such as hats, blankets. and pouches. Our primary focus is specializing in one of a kind items, using unique materials that will make baby shine - whether you are shopping for baby or a photographer looking for a photo prop!

For many of our items, we use artistic yarns, which are primarily handspun and hand dyed yarns from some of the best yarn providers around. Unless noted as a custom order, all of our items are "ready to ship." And please keep in mind that no two handmade items are exactly alike - that's why we love handmade with love!

If you're buying for baby, you will find unique hats and blankets that are amazingly beautiful, yet can be functional too! Some of our items can be worn and can be washed. We also have other items that are higher quality that can only be hand washed, but will surely become a baby heirloom. If you are considering buying an item, but are unsure of usability (is it wash and wear, could it be worn daily, etc.) - contact us and we'll let you know. Some of our handmade/handspun wool items would be better for special occasions; but if you are looking for something more functional we can use a more durable yarn. Just let us know!

If you're a photographer looking for props, you will find many items that are OOAK and will help your clients have a unique experience, resulting in lasting memories. We have many pieces that would be suitable for photo props!

Don't see what you're looking for? - Please contact us for custom orders. We will adjust color (we have yarn in a rainbow of colors, feel, texture), size, or style (doesn't have to be only what is in our shop) based on your request. We will gladly work with you to create a OOAK piece that you will love. Custom orders may take additional time to create, depending on yarn availability and complexity of request.

For those of you who don't know me, I am Barbara, a mother of two and grandmother of 3. Along with my daughter, Rachel, we will be making items for our baby shop. We work with some of the best providers of hand dyed, handspun yarns here on Etsy, and we try to work with farms who provide for rescue animals and are ethically responsible.
