Contemporary mixed media and digital artwork

These pieces are my exploration of my childhood and the themes of fairy tales. When I was little my mom gave me a book she had owned as a little girl that collected fairy tales both familiar and obscure. The stories of adventures and the characters’ transformations between animals and humans have stayed with me all these years. Sharing them now brings the story full circle.

Each painting’s title is a quote from this 1948 edition of Fifty Famous Fairy Tales.
