I was in retail for over 20 years. I loved it too. I loved the people, the cleaning, the hustle and bustle. I actually looked forward to the holiday seasons! I felt a warm, fuzzy feeling watching hundreds of people buying items for their loved ones. Little tokens of affection.

I was good at what I did and happy to do it.

Things change though. After a pregnancy that took a toll, my back would never be the same. I couldn't stand for more than 30 minutes without pain. I couldn't sit for more than 45 minutes without major discomfort. So what does a social, creative, people loving person do? How can I work without the hustle and bustle?

Then I found Etsy.

I always had a passion for sewing and knitting. I also LOVE vintage items. Seemed like a good combination. But would it work? Would I be able to help my family a bit? Would I be able to manage my back pain? Would I be social? All of these questions were answered with a big YES.

Thus, JclaireP was born. This wonderful site called Etsy has given me a chance to work without losing so much of what I love about retail. People, socializing, creating and so much more. I am forever grateful.

JclaireP has been growing for over three years now and I love to see what happens everyday. I hope you enjoy what I bring and I hope I can always bring more. Most of all..

Thank you for allowing someone to continue to follow the passions that were given to her. It has been and will be a great ride.
