Junipa's day is not complete unless she can create something crafty.

As a young child, she wanted to be a surgeon, but instead of cutting and stitching people up she found other forms of creativity that also involved skillful hands.

At the age of 15 she started art school and a few years later graduated as a textile artisan. After completing her studies, she worked with the elderly and children, helping them create all sorts of fun crafts.

Many years later she decided to upgrade her knowledge and studied to become a textile designer. Some time after graduating, she started working as a textile instructor for adults in rehabilitation, using her craft and designing skills as a tool to help people realise their potential and worth in life and heal themselves in the process.

Junipa found out about ball-jointed dolls in 2010, during her design studies. She was absolutely inspired by these dolls and even did her thesis on the subject. As she got deeper into the hobby, she started making and selling clothes to other collectors who share her love in ball-jointed dolls and handmade items.

As an artist and a designer Junipa appreciates the hours and effort that real artists put into creating these wonderful dolls. She does not support art theft and is very much pro-artist and against BJD recasters that ruin this hobby and put artists out of business.
