Announcement    I combine my love for animals and love for art to create my life-like portraits. What sets me apart from other portrait artists is my ability to "read" your pet, look deep into their eyes and see the soul of the personality which resides in each and every individual animal, and then apply the love and emotion I feel on paper so that you will have a fine art portrait to cherish forever.

Here is how it works: After you purchase the size that you want your portrait to be, I will need 4-7 high quality, large, 300dpi photos of your pet. Please, NO flashes. Photos are best shot in natural light near a window or patio door. I like to work from a collection of photos, because that is how I gather information on your pet's personality and what makes them a unique individual. Please understand that the better the quality of the photos you supply, the better the end result will be. Since most of my portraits are cropped, I don't need a full body photo unless you have a special request. Good photos of the face are best, and a smart phone camera is perfect for taking these photos. Once I receive your payment, I will contact you to discuss your portrait and go over your photos or any requests you have. I work mostly in graphite on ivory paper, but I can add a section of color to make your portrait truly stand out.
