I have always loved nature. I have a birdsong CD to learn all the songs I hear the birds singing. I love watching tadpoles grow into frogs. I love discovering animal footprints in the snow. I love the sound of the wind blowing through the woods. I just love being outside.

While going to college to become an interior designer, an art professor suggested I try photography as a way to capture my love of nature. As it turns out I got a BFA in photography instead and have been taking photographs ever since!

I love photographing nature and capturing it's beauty. I love capturing the tiniest detail of a leaf or the beauty of a quiet Maine sunrise. I always hope that when anyone sees my photos they will have a little more appreciation for the natural world around them.

I turn most of my photos into cards because this gives me chance to work with my hands and create higher end cards that can be used to send special notes or greetings to loved ones. It is also a less expensive option for purchasing a photograph to frame and display.

Outside of my etsy shop I also love photographing families and taking millions of photos of my daughter.
