I started this shop way back in the day when I was a student in college. It has seen many different handmade items, from original prints, sewn goods, to handmade books. I love producing work, and as I have grown as a person, and as an artist, I have found that it is important to me to follow my heart wherever that takes me. Over the years I have designed 10+ lines of fabric for Andover Fabric, I have taught all over the world, and I've become and avid gardener, serious instagrammer, and an excitable dressmaker. So that brings me to now and my current projects involve paintings, prints of paintings, and original hand pulled prints. I'm excited to have a wide range of images to share with you.
As a trained traditional fine art printmaker it is important to me that the difference between a hand pulled print, and a digital print is understood. When you purchase a digital print, it is just that. An incredibly detailed and high quality print of an image that you love. They will be sold in editions similarly to hand pulled prints, and I will sign and number them, and also retire them once I've sold through the edition, just to move forward. So in that there is value, and the joy the image brings you is its intrinsic value.
If you are wanting to collect art as a collector, that happens when you invest in an original. An actual painting or hand pulled print is an original. These are very limited in nature as they are originals. Monoprints, are hand pulled prints that produce only one print. It is in essence a painting that is produced in flat layers, and other types of printmaking are typically editioned. The nature of the item will be reflected in the price.
All work is produced on archival paper and handled with the utmost of care.
New work is added on the 15th of each month
