Love this print! It’s a wonderful piece and it serves as a sweet daily reminder of my beloved border collie, Rookie who I lost 5 years ago. The artist captures the spirit of a happy, carefree dog enjoying time, off leash, at the beach. There was a slight delay with shipping, but the seller communication was great and this piece was worth waiting for.

Purchased another of Mary Kemps Collie prints at Christmas as it reminded me of my loyal Collie Pip and thought it would be a great gift for my partner. She loved it. It was the toss of a coin between the two at Christmas and the autumn one won the day for Christmas. This one is just as special ...Pip and my partner love the sea and it evokes a happy memory of him herding waves. I'm sure my partner will love this as much as the other one and is an ideal valentine's gift.

This is what inspires me to paint, an almost empty beach and a dog called Grace running into the sea.
Prints ready to ship! All are securely packed to reach you in the best possible condition.
My studio in autumn.
This is me in my studio.

Wishing you a warm welcome to my studio, and let me share paintings and prints of the things that I love.

I say modestly that I paint a bit. That’s not strictly true. I paint an awful lot.
Some people are born with this odd obsession and I am one of them. I have painted ever since I can remember and attended art school for a year.
Much of my life has been spent juggling two important things, family commitments and my desire to paint. Now I have fewer responsibilities so paint more.
All the prints you see are from my own original paintings. My son's wayward border collie called Grace features prominently at the moment.
I like to think that my prints are joyful and life affirming, just the sort of art to have around the home.
I have shared my work widely over the years through commercial art galleries and exhibitions, the internet and local open studio events.
