Miljours Story
Hi there !
My name is Marie-Anne Miljours and I am the designer and founder behind Miljours Studio.
I first started to work with leather in 2013 when pursuing my studies in Fashion Design.
At that time, I didn't know I would start a business in the leather goods industry! The only thing I knew was that I wanted to make a change in the Fashion industry.
While I was making leather accessories for my fashion show, I was slowly thinking about having my own eco-friendly line. I thought leather goods could be a great start! One thing led to the other and I ended up doing my first show. I met so many talented people there and they encourage me to pursue my dream of having an eco-friendly project.
Step by step, I build my business plan. At that time I had it named Matu.
The sales we going well and I loved my job I had created. But, there was something going not so well. I wanted to meet my customers, I wanted to talk with them. I wanted to have a personal relationship with them. I decided to change the business model to something more personal, that resonates with my core values.
I changed the name for my surname, I put my face on Instastory, I talked with you and since then I feel completely fulfilled. I really enjoy what I am doing, I love making new product, I love to make a different each single day in the fashion industry as an eco-friendly company.
