Announcement    Spiritual Impressionist and Head Elf makes stim toys, stim decor and Sobist art!

First I was a painter, but then I specialized in comfort items for sensory integration. My kids, and the Internet, call them stim toys. My works have been used with success by people with Anxiety and Depression, PTSD, Alzheimer's Disease and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Taken to another level, my kooky, original stim decor will help soothe your world: velvet pillows, embroidered leaves, embellished paintings, even my own best invention, Smellephants, are here for you to explore. I have a great respect for the elders among us, and strive to make unique gifts that are texturally satisfying as well as respectfully age-appropriate.

But wait! Plot twist! After decades of sewing, and other repetitive motions (sanding and painting the rooms of our home & etc.) my right hand has retired. My left hand has taken up painting and journaling, but sewing still feels cumbersome, so until I get my left hand up to speed, I am a retired toymaker. While my paintings and textile figures present you with impressions of the various spirits, guides or angels that people my world, they are a finite collection.

Sorbism, an art movement defined in the mid 80's, and quietly continued 'til this day, is explained in my Policies section as well.

My work is hand-made/hand-sewn with materials from my studio collection. Here are a few for your amusement and delight.

Each piece is imbued with healing energy. Often, my friend Karen will infuse them all with Reiki energy as well. I hope to bring comfort and joy into your world.
