Color makes me happy. Maybe because I have lived under the gray skies of the Pacific Northwest my entire life, I can’t help but to embrace it. It brings great joy to create with color and to be able to share my work with others. Charity Stewart Designs was launched in 2008 when I quit my corporate job to spend more time with my girls and to pursue my passion for glass art.

Inspired by nature and travels to Italy, my designs blend modern style with old world charm, showcasing the vibrant color, dimension and exquisite beauty that is found in Venetian glass. Each is handmade in Portland, Oregon with genuine Murano Millefiori, which is Italian for "1000 flowers". This ancient technique fuses multicolored glass canes together that are then cut crosswise to reveal flower-like patterns.

In my humble studio, tiny pieces of glass are intricately arranged, painted and kiln formed into colorful home decor and artful jewelry. Each piece is thoughtfully designed to bring a touch of color and joy to you and your home.
