I love estate sales, garage sales or anywhere you find old and unusual items or items to repurpose and recycle.

I have gone to these sales for years but when I retired from a long term job, I found that I wanted to find some way to "recycle" the great things that I found but did not have enough room in my own home to use.

I started the ETSY shop in March of 2011 after a few years on EBAY. I really love Etsy!

I have loved collecting jewelry (just the cheaper stuff) and wanted to find a way to reuse it. I saw some Christmas pictures from the 70s with lights and jewelry and decided to "reinvent" them. I made them without the lights and a bit more stylized and artsy. I then started making the topiary trees and monograms as well.

I have redone a few other items but nothing that I would say is specialized.
I would say I am a bit of an antiquer, a recycler, an creator of jewelry art, and lover of retro stuff too. I have just recently started a bit of recycled clothing. I have made pillows and fancy guest towels in the past.

I just love doing lots of different things!
