As I have grown as an artist and person, my art has focused more and more on the importance of relationships, connections with our past, and all matters of the heart and human spirit. I am most inspired when I create art that celebrates life's big and small joys and embraces both the past and present. I have been making a lot of cards lately because I am an advocate of the handwritten letter or note. I am a sentimental person and that is reflected in my art pieces that use photos, hymnals, and embellishments that have a story to tell.

I love using gathered vintage materials and photos to create art that is both whimsical and endearing, (art that makes you feel loved and comforted.) I use vintage lace, aged hymnal pages, buttons from my Grandma's button box, old family photos, German glass glitter, letters etc. regularly in my creations. Most of these materials have been collected over the years and have an emotional element attached to them.

I rarely make two pieces of art which are the same, nor do I rush the process. My art is created from the heart and my appreciation of the many blessings I have in my life. This gratitude is expressed in quite a few of my pieces and I know they will find the right home. I really do want you to love what you receive in the mail when you order from me so please speak up if there is any problem at all. I will take good care of you.

I try to gift wrap all purchases if it does not add to shipping/packaging fees. If you are purchasing a gift, please let me know and I'll make every effort to gift wrap it or add a cute gift tag. Also, if you find a piece of my art that you would love to have with one of your special photos featured on it, I can possibly custom make that piece for you. Just get in touch with me and we can work out the details.

Because I incorporate aged materials in my pieces, there are occasions when there could be imperfections, staining, or irregularities in texture or color. I make every attempt to show this in my photographs. (In my mind, that is part of the beauty of art created with materials or photographs from the past.)

If you are interested in my art and live outside of the United States please contact me and I can provide shipping/packaging fees and we can proceed from there. I am making every effort to keep my art affordable on top of being unique.
