I studied fashion design at Los Angeles Trade Tech, I design the clothes, make patterns and sew them. My partner studied film and photography in college. He takes photos for the shop, and makes jewelry and screenprints shirts though he works a full time job so his time is limited to working on the etsy shop. Right now there isn't anything of his in the shop. He hopes to free up some time and get more involved.
This creative design team loves to do fashion shows, and outdoor events.. We love to collaborate with fellow artisians on community events. Some Etsy shops "Reserve" items for buyers with unlimited time frame when to pay. I've been patient with Reserving items for buyers and waiting on payment and they never follow through. I know sometimes when shopping on Etsy you find lots of fabulous stuff that you wish you can buy though don't have the funds to cover it. You ask to "Reserve" it for you planning on buying it with your next paycheck. Then by the time you recieve your check you find a new batch of items you want to buy instead. In order to "Reserve an item for you I have to pull the listing I may have up on other auction websites this cost me money and time. Since this has happened preventing a serious buyer from purchasing I request a small deposit to hold the item for you. Here is how it goes:
Reserve 1 week $10.00
Reserve 2 weeks $15.00
Reserve 3 weeks 1/2 down
I don't reserve more than 1 month. Deposits go towards the balance of the item. If you need more time please communicate I'll try to work something out. After the time frame we discuss if a payment has not been made the item goes off "Reserve". I can put the deposit towards another item within a month's time frame. I do check my email frequently 1pm-1am daily. If by chance you reserve it during my closed hours and someone else buys your item I will refund you or I can put it towards another item.
