Announcement    2024 Nettles are here, first herb of the season! Freshly harvested and dried and ready to ship. The nettles are leafy and dark green due to the rainy spring we have had. I've been clearing out the herb garden, uncovering the young perennial herbs from their long winter sleep, such an exciting time! I'll be harvesting some lemon balm this week, comfrey and peppermint soon after. The other perennials are now poking their little heads and will be up before we know it!

Check out the Medicinal Herbs listing in my Herbalists' Corner section if you don't see what you're looking for. Not all of my herbs have their own listing. After the herbs are all air dried in the shade and hand-garbled, they are stored in airtight steel canisters or food grade 5 gallon buckets, keeping them both dry and fresh. My herbs are not cut and sifted to add to weight, so you will only receive the leaves or flowers and small stems. All teas are sustainably packaged to order (no plastic!) and shipped the next day. Offered here are herbal teas and salves that I make in small batches using organic ingredients, as well as dried herbs and roots for the home herbalist. Please message me with any questions you may have about an herb or its uses.

PLEASE NOTE that dried herb quantities sold are by package size, weight is approximate and can vary by herb. I am a small craft grower and everything is done by hand.

PACKING AND SHIPPING: I am pleased to announce that all of my paper packaging is now biodegradable! I now use paper pouches without windows to eliminate any light infiltration. The paper pouches are for shipping only, it is best to store your herbs in glass jars.

For shipping I re-use recyclable cardboard boxes or kraft bags, and package with recycled kraft paper or used air bags and bubble wrap.

Although I do not offer free shipping, the actual shipping costs are usually higher than I charge. Any shipping overages of more than $1 will be promptly refunded. I do not sell or ship internationally at this time.

I grow or ethically wildcraft all the herbs without the use of chemicals, herbicides or pesticides, at Round the Bend Farm, (roundthebendfarm.org) a center for restorative community in South Dartmouth, MA, where we add plant and animal organic matter into the soil. These materials decompose to feed the soil, sequester carbon, nourish healthy soil structure, and increase the soils' ability to hold onto key nutrients and retain moisture.

Please be aware I have a designated "herb room" apothecary where I store and package my teas and botanicals. I am the only one handling my products. Rest assured they are safe from contamination.
