Years ago, after experiencing dry itchy skin, acne and dandruff that kept coming back to me every so often, I started making small changes in the skin care products I used. I experimented with Aloe Vera, Kefir, Bicarbonate of Soda, Lemon Juice, Olive Oil, Aromatic Herbs by gradually incorporating all of the above into face creams, shampoos, body lotions, sun care products and tooth powders. Later, it occurred to me that maybe the store bought products aren't that beneficial as they sound and that I can make many products from scratch, at home in my own kitchen and insure that if any preserving ingredients are added, these are organic, natural and contributing something more to the final product.
I am now confidently making sun cream, deodorant, mosquitoes repellent, shampoo, moisturizers, etc . I'd gladly sell all the above products, but unfortunately I haven't yet found a way to naturally stabilize and preserve them to reach you in their best condition. Making soap is my favorite hobby and this is the one cosmetic product that I make that gets better with age and can compete with the big brands, despite using only natural ingredients:
The base ingredients for my home made soaps are Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter and Fresh Aloe Vera Gel.
I then personalize the soaps by adding other organic ingredients and therapeutic grade essential oils.
