I just got tired of all the plastic, kitschy, wooden, and stuffed vintage owls out there...I wanted something different.
Plus, I wanted to do something that could contribute, in a small way, to women in developing countries.
And that’s where the idea for my shop was born. Welcome!
The focus of “Not Your Grandma’s Vintage” is women. Specifically, all the odd, unique, naughty, ugly and beautiful ways the female gender has been portrayed in the past - during different time periods and in different cultures.
A portion of my shop sales will go to projects found on www.worldpulse.com. A site dedicated to giving women around the world a voice.
