On Etsy since 2008

From PA to DC to PA

I began selling on Etsy in 2008, scouring the Pennsylvania countryside for any fun vintage finds. Estate sales and flea markets dotted my weekends while I was teaching art in a public school. In 2011 I was let go from my teaching position because of art education budget cuts. I was devastated, but pulled myself up by my boot strings and headed south to Washington D.C.

The last three years I was an art teacher in inner city D.C. but I also found time to search for great vintage items too. One of my most favorite D.C. finds was a Kay Bojesen wooden elephant at the local thrift store! I also found time to open a pop up children's art workshop called Crinkle.

Late in 2014, career choices lead me back to my home state of Pennsylvania. My shop is, yet again, curated with unique finds from rural Pennsylvania.

When I am not hunting for vintage items I like to cuddle with my Boston Terrier named Bella, jog, read, and be doing anything outdoors.
