Look closely... these are original illustrations drawn on a ridiculously small scale by Austin artist Ben Anglin. These near-microscopic renderings challenge the constraints of size and "squint". Lines of people seemingly stretch into invisibility. Animals look like tiny spatters of ink, and at times, the .007-inch hair-fine pen strokes are almost too wide to work with.
The sheer size of the art still amazes me, and as you might guess, it's truly great to be able to sit around and amaze yourself... really it is.
Anyway, all drawings have been free-handed in India ink on waterproof film, and contained in clear acrylic one-inch viewers that are unsealed for closer examination.
For a true miniature mind-bending experience.
