I am a Waldorf handwork and arts and crafts teacher, doll's artist and art therapist. I teach sewing, knitting, needle felting, weaving, wet felting and wool painting, using soft, natural materials in my creations, always trying to study new skills in creating
I recently discovered a love for buttons and started to use them in my work as well as selling them
I used to teach at Waldorf schools and at the seminar for training Waldorf teachers in Jerusalem. I recently open my private studio where I work with young teachers, children, mothers and grandmothers.
As a teacher, I believe I have to be the example of how to create so I practice with creating every single item I teach. In this way, teaching and creating handwork, arts and crafts in the Waldorf tradition are both my inner development and my occupation too. I have taught for over 30 years now and needed a change. I started my e-shop as a hobby ,as a way to study new skills [computer and English]. I was amazed to see that people liked what I created!
One day I study to felt buttons and beads
The buttons and beads turned to be beautiful –I added them to the shop
Since then I discover a new world-the world of buttons and beads
As an artist I started to create jewelry with buttons and to use them for my doll's clothes When time pass by I started to search for unique vintage and antique buttons and beads, it became an adventure to search for old treasuries in mystery places, to travel out of my country to beautiful markets, legends became reality
I do much fun and enjoy my time
When searching I found more treasuries as vintage Swarovski, beautiful findings and more crafts and jewelry supplies so I added them too
Here I am trying to search for beautiful supplies so the artists who will work with them will enjoy creating as I enjoy to create my arts and crafts
The way of my life shows me-you can never know what tomorrow will bring you or where your destiny will lead you!
