When i had my daughter i was thrilled but shocked! I really don't like pink. My daughter was born in the Summer and of course i couldn't find a hat for her on our little island that wasn't over the top feminine and everyone would point out that she needed a hat (even if i was just walking into the grocery store). So that night i made one. And i've been making them ever since!

I started selling in the Saturday Farmer's Market when my daughter was 6 months old... i've raised my kids there just as my mom did with me.

I opened Thrive Lifestyle with a market friend, Jessica Wilson, in the Summer of 2012. We both produce our lines of clothing in the back studio.

It's been enlightening seeing the retail side of things and see the gaps in eco children's fashion available in Canada. I am constantly expanding to meet the needs of my store.

I'm just now entering the world of local manufacturing as my family and business grow i need some help meeting my demand. I'm excited! Stay tuned!
