Announcement    Hi! How can I help you? Thank for visiting my shop and please feel free to comment.

I have been crafting since I was a child. I've studied oil painting, water color, quilting, cake decorating and floral arranging. I owned my own flower shop for 11 years in Philipsburg and Drummond Montana. Recently I have been a cake decorator for a popular grocery chain and had been a bakery manager for another grocery chain.

Growing up in the Montana mountains gave me a first hand appreciation of nature and provided many long winters in which to learn embroidery and knitting from both of my grandmothers. One of my favorite memories is when one grandmother helped me with an easy water color. Her quiet manner and insight has been very valuable to me throughout my years.

Just recently I have moved to the desert in California and am enjoying the quietness and the warmth very much. The move has been good for my "older" body and mind.

My passion for learning and sharing new techniques led me to study to earn my Bachelor's Degree in education. My majors are English and Physical Education although most of my teaching experience has been in sharing some of my painting skills in classes and easy children's crafts.

I enjoy creating with color and using a variety of mediums in my items. I especially get a "yeehaw" when I can create something original. I hope you'll enjoy browsing.
