After a challenging and successful career as a health care executive, I retired early due to failing health. Having a type A personality and after I recovered a bit, I started knocking around to reinvent myself. Being a child of very artistic parents, I knew that I had a craving to allow that part of me to emerge. I already knew I loved antique jewelry and the stories behind how they came to be. However, I never thought about creating jewelry myself. I finally kicked the door open and out came a jewelry designer. The more I beckoned it, the more it opened to me. I began to heal through the jewelry, the colors, metals, wire and all things found. Later in my jewelry career, yearning to push my work further, I began to work with metals and fell in love all over again...metalsmithing has allowed me to really push my designs and creations further, so much yet to explore, to learn. The abstract lover in me stepped forth..I do love the perfection of crisp lines all the ducks in a row, but for me, I would want to move one slightly off balance.

I am profoundly grateful for each and every sale. The thrill lives on...I struggle with Crohns disease. Surrounding myself with my jewelry creations, failures and wins, better equips me to fight on, ready to take the next new journey every time I sit at my table..
