My shop is called Princess Starfish Designs after the imaginary candy store that my three year old daughter conceived of back in the summer of 2005. Over the years I have gravitated toward clean, monochromatic, classic designs, yet I always endeavor to add my own modern twist with occasional touches of whimsy and meticulous details and workmanship.
My goal as a designer is to keep creating unique pieces that bridge the gap between special occasion and every day wear. I also strive to create versatile designs that can be used in a variety of ways such as my woven crystals on ribbon that function as headbands, necklaces or armbands and can also be ordered as a bracelet or a barefoot sandal, or my hand-knotted pearls, which can be worn just as easily with a simple white shirt and a pair of jeans as a duchesse satin ball gown. I want my customers to experience the luxury of hand-made, customizable jewelry at a price that they can afford.
