Hi y’all! I’m Mary Clark, the photographer behind the lens of psalm27creative. I am a southern girl (and yes, I do go by both names). I grew up in South Carolina, and have had some grand adventures living in Ireland, Washington, DC, and Williamsburg, VA. I currently live in the beautiful town of Franklin, Tennessee with my incredible husband, Garrett.
Creativity has been my lifeblood since I was a small child. I am incredibly blessed to have a family who supported all my crazy creative pursuits (even when they didn’t necessarily “get” them). I have a mother that cherished every craft and art project in a way that fanned my tiny spark into a flame. Thanks to their encouragement I went on to get a BFA in photography from Clemson University, and then pursued a degree in arts management at University College Dublin.
Photography is my passion. And after years in the non-profit arts world, I am returning with renewed excitement…and a fun twist! I am also combining photography with my love for all things handcrafted in order to provide my photography clients (and YOU) with real, tangible memories that will be cherished for years to come. I delight in getting to know new friends through photography, creating special experiences, and capturing people and places just as they are. (My heart is pounding with joy just thinking about this!)
I LOVE to photograph handmade weddings, families & little ones, and other creative businesses. Feel free to stop by my website (http://www.psalm27creative.com) to ask a question, book a wedding or portrait session, or just say hi! You can also email me at psalm27creative [!at] gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you!
Blessings,
Mary Clark
