On Etsy since 2009

After many trips to the Caribbean, I fell in love with the vibrant colors of the tropical fish.
This is one of my award winning paintings done in oil and acrylic.
These are two paintings I did for myself. The parrots are the picture I use for my shop icon.
I love to paint herons and egrets which are native to Florida where I now live.
After living in the Florida Keys for many years, I still love painting fish and coral reef scenes.

Rose Artworks ETSY the joy of my life!!

After a couple of shops in which I was doing consignment art/craft sales gave up because of the economic situation, I happened upon an article in a magazine about a site called ETSY. I copied down the information and with the help of my lovely daughter who is much more computer literate than myself, I opened up my very first online shop. I spent many hours reading the help articles from other Etsians of which I am immeasurably grateful and now I am more than pleased with the success I have had with ETSY.

The joy of creating art/crafts and having others like them or in some cases, even fall in love with them, enough to purchase them is a thrilling experience that I cannot even describe. Learning and improving on my art is very precious to me and I truly hope that others can experience the love of my creations as much as I do.
