I'm Bella,
From a very young age, my parents and I enjoyed open-air Flea Markets and thrift stores. My Mama has told me that I would always be drawn to textiles. She would watch me feeling and draping vintage slips, lace dresses, and old Barkcloth curtains. Coordinating color was a gift, even back then!

After acquiring a boatload of fabrics at age 10, my Mama taught me how to sew. This is where my love of fabrics, textiles, and my collecting spirit began.

I admit that I'm addicted to fabric! You could insulate the walls with it!

Along with sewing, I am a self-taught Victorian Lampshade designer.
To date, I have designed over 500 lampshades. It has been another lifelong passion.

These days you can still find me haunting Flea Markets, thrift shops, and yard sales. Always on the hunt for textiles. I can spot them a mile away! I love to preserve these precious relics from the past by repurposing them into treasures, for more generations to enjoy.

~How I started~
Back in the late 80's Nordstroms had beautiful handmade gifts, in their cosmetics dept. After admiring the lovely pillows, hat boxes, and sachets, I contacted the buyer and ended up supplying four Bay Area stores with my handmade treasures.

When I moved to Montana, I opened a shop offering my one-of-a-kind creations and my specialty, handmade lampshades. I was the only person in this region that made them. This kept me very busy. After 10 years of shopkeeping, I gave it up and have been selling online since.

Etsy is my favorite venue. My customers are wonderful. I feel blessed that I can stay home and live this creative life, my dream. I am thankful that you stopped by!
