It all started in 2016 when Mark Dunkley showed Miguel D'Eon a picture of his artwork creation. It was a silhouette of a lobster and inside the shape was a map of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. At the time, Mark was only looking at creating artwork for his new home.
A humble Mark thought his initial design concept was just "ok". Luckily, Miguel saw something special that day and Voila, the Saltwreck brand was born.
Saltwreck has grown from it's humble Nova Scotia beginnings. It now has a collection of over 700 unique maps of Canada, and is loved by Canadians from coast to coast.
Our co-founder Miguel D'Eon, loves to spend time with his wife and three kids. A passionate outdoorsmen who enjoys the simple things Canada has to offer. He is thrilled to have built a brand that touches people's hearts.
