I admit it. I am a crazy, manic creator and always designing something. On any given night in between dinner, bath time, etc. with the family, you can find me "relaxing" by getting out some frustrated artist energy. I might be sewing, painting, making jewelry or accessories, doing crafts with the kids, flipping through home design magazines, planning an over the top party, designing on the laptop or iPad....

But one consistent theme you will notice throughout all of my creations is a love for the coastal lifestyle. Born and raised in Savannah, Georgia I can say there is something just so different and special about growing up near the beach and rivers. Smelling the marsh grass, running the boats through the winding waterways, building sand castles with the kids, sipping a cocktail on the dock with the hubby, throwing a crab line or two in with your parents.... These are experiences and memories that make me who I am. The salt air runs through my veins.

Most people who have grown up on the coast or perhaps even visited once or twice can understand the unique feeling these areas offer. Perhaps that is why so many of us are drawn to nautical charts. They are a roadmap to that indescribable feeling the area gives, a visual reminder of what we love most. That is why I decided that the framed charts of my favorite areas on my walls just weren't enough. What if I could put that visual/feeling in many other places in my house? Or share it as a gift with my loved ones? Or help others honor and celebrate favorite places and memories or occasions in their life? And that's when this crazy journey began....
