My shop name "Sedonaskye" represents my love for the red rocks and awesome skies of Arizona. I live on 5 acres just south of Sedona . The mountains and deserts surrounding my home provide much of my inspiration as I explore them with my partner Mike. I love critters too. We have a desert tortoise who is about 100 years old, a small herd of chickens and a wonderful rescue dog named Poochie.

I have been beading for about 15 years. It all began with a box of cabochons from my grandfather. I started beading around them and then began to expand my bead work farther out from the stone. As a kid I was very "crafty", drawing and painting and creating all sorts of things in my dad's garage. My parents were very patient! About a year ago I started making my own polymer clay focal pieces as well.

Beading has been a good outlet for my creative juices! I have won numerous awards and am fortunate enough to have my work in several galleries. Etsy has been a great experience as well, having sold over 850 individual one-of-a-kind original creations to folks all over the world.
