Everything I sell on my page is made by myself, Andy Kurth. I do all of this stuff in my free time or after I get out of work. I spend ALL day creating art! During the day I work at a tattoo shop as an artist. Sometimes my work reflects the tattoo genre a lot.
I've been doing a lot of assemblages and robot sculptures lately and it has been fun. I put pencil to paper so much at work that it's nice to go home and create something that requires no drawing at all. Don't get me wrong, it's always fun to draw, but it's been nice mixing it up a bit!
I also love to repurpose items. Almost all of my robot sculptures use repurposed items. All of my frames are collected from thrift stores and garage sales as well. I really hate seeing things get thrown away when I know they could have a whole new life as something else.
This shop should have all sorts of stuff listed at any certain time. Almost everything is original art. One-of-a-kind art. Sometimes I'll do prints but I try to keep most of my listings as originals. I put a lot of blood, sweat, tears, and time into my art!
