From Truck to Bag.
At SOURCED, we create unique, functional bags and accessories from upcycled truck tarpaulin.
Every item is one-of-a-kind, due to differing logos & markings on the tarpaulin. We scour the road networks of Europe to find this thick, waterproof material, rescuing it from landfill.
We design and manufacture all our products in the UK. Bags are produced in small batches and can be customised on request.

5 out of 5 starsA+ seller A+ product! There are two bags in the picture, one (C) I’ve had for so long that I have no idea what year I bought it! The prices are reasonable for these bags, especially if you’re looking for recycled bags. They last a long time, but I still like the newer (to me) version with a pocket inside, large enough for a three ring binder, the bag (large) is actually bigger than that. I highly recommend these bags!

Items are sent with proof of postage but not tracking as it costs approximately 2 times more from the UK. Should you wish to have a tracked item please send us a message before your order and we'll arrange a quote for you.

Can I pick the colour of bag I receive?
We photo every bag individually meaning the bag you purchase will be the exact one you will receive.
Does shipping include tracking?
Yes, all products are sent out using a tracked service. The shipping method we use is Royal Mail 24 with online delivery confirmation (for UK customers) and International Standard / Tracked (for the rest of the world customers).
Foreign deliveries will sometimes require tracking to be accessed via the local delivery provider using the reference number provided with your order.
Can I add a laptop sleeve to your messenger bags?
Absolutely, please send us a message and we can arrange a custom order.
Germany - Verpackungsgesetz (LUCID Packaging Register)
Germany's Packaging Act "VerpackG" imposes requirements on online retailers selling to buyers in Germany. The Packaging Act promotes recycling and reuse of packaging materials (e.g. cardboard boxes, tape, and bubble wrap).
My brand SOURCED is registered at the Packaging Register of the Stiftung Zentrale Stelle Verpackungsregister (Foundation Central Agency Packaging Register – ZSVR) with registration number DE2854599284243. My Dual System Licensing partner for the collection, sorting & recycling of the packaging is ACTIVATE by RECLAY.
As consumer please ensure that all received packaging is separated, reused and/or disposed of in the right recycling containers, at home
Why does tarp make good bags?
Truck tarp makes great bags for a variety of reasons.
Firstly it's super strong - thousands of miles on the highway hasn't even made a dent in the durability. We've customers from many years ago still using their original bag.
Tarp is waterproof. We wouldn't call our bags totally waterproof due to seams and openings, but they certainly stand up well in wet conditions.
Tarp is an upcycled material. Buying a truck tarp bag is removing that material from landfill. We've processed tons of material that would otherwise be sat in the ground.
Tarp is unique. Every bag is one of a kind, never to be repeated. Patina from a past life and differing patterns make for a one off bag. The hard part is picking a design that suits you.
Does tarp smell?
It depends. It's true that some material can smell more than others, especially if it's had a long time in transit. Our advice never changes, lots of air. Hang your bag on the washing line on a warm windy day if the smell is bothering you - this almost always works.
