Years ago, I went to college for art. It had always been my passion. Yet, I didn't know what to do with it as a career. Nothing inspired me. Then, a few years after graduating, I was introduced to the world of nomadic life. All of a sudden, my art came more alive than I had ever imagined. I carry along a sketchbook and draw as I'm inspired, as I walk through mountains, desert, and along oceans. I also have a camera handy to capture the beauty all around me.

Since 2014, most of the time I have been backpacking around the United States and part of Canada. I go wherever my heart leads me, but long-distance trails especially - such as the Continental Divide Trail, Pacific Crest Trail, Colorado Trail, Arizona Trail, etc. The peace and beauty of nature, the wonderful people, and the surprises of each day inspire me in my art.

I love meeting people along the way and sharing with them. Then I thought - Why not share these images on Etsy with others? I've spent a great deal of time and care in digitizing my art and editing my photography. That way, the beauty that I witness can be on display in others' homes for inspiration. In sharing my art, I wish for others to experience this beauty that's not only around us, but also within us, and to live to our fullest potential.
