Love to Create

As a child, I always was painting or drawing, or finding some interesting craft to do. That love has never died. One day, I was looking through a catalog and saw a wood picture of a barn and thought to myself, that is very unique and interesting, So, I decided to make it! That's how my wood pictures started. Then I began adding the 2-dimensional aspect. I sold them in a local antique store for a while, until they closed. Then one day, my husband asked why I don't start making them again. So, I did. Then I discovered Etsy! As you can see, my shop has a variety of items. Like, I mentioned above, I love doing all sorts of crafts. However, painting is my passion. Working with wood is just as enjoyable. My pictures are not considered intarsia. That is a little different form of woodworking.
My love for animals is shown in my artwork. These are some of my favorite topics. However, I consider all God's creations as being magnificant, so that is why landscapes and nature also inspire me. Since I have never had any formal training, I consider my art to be a true gift.
I love working closely with custom orders. Creating something special for someone is very fulfilling.
