My shop specializes in farmhouse decor, housewares & essentials - it is the design & lifestyle I love, just like you do. Each piece in the shop has been hand-selected by me for uniqueness, style, function and quality. I seek out pieces that are versatile, and can be used over & over again.

The story of The Farmhouse Co. begins with my great-grandparents. They immigrated to the US from Quebec, Canada and settled in northern Wisconsin, where they built their homestead / farmhouse with their 11 children. I have fond memories of visiting the farm as a child, and continue to visit every summer {my cousin now owns the farm}.

My daughter first told me about Etsy in 2009; within a few days, I opened up my shop. Having an online business really expanded my customer base beyond just having booth spaces in local antique malls & shops. Now my merchandise can be found in homes all over the world. And that is exciting!
