Born from the love of DIY and the unconventional.

My name is Kang and I am a maker, sewist and embroiderer based in Singapore. I've always loved DIY and making things, and discovered that I was really good at working with my hands, so I made it my life!

I am mostly self-taught, learning through lots of experimentation, which led to my love of upcycled and unconventional materials. There is great satisfaction in taking trash and turning them into treasure.

I discovered the process to create fused plastic in 2009 and haven't stopped since! I love taking plastic bags and transforming them into all kinds of items.

In 2022, I got into digital machine embroidery and have been experimenting heavily with creative embroidery ever since, trying to incorporate it into my plastic work.

I personally love black a lot, but do actually use lots of colour in my work! My style mantra is "all black everything with a pop of colour", so what better way than accessories to provide that pop?

I love minimal, geometric shapes and forms, but also love lots of textures and colours, so my work is always finding that sweet halfway point. I like creating statement pieces, but still maintaining a classic and chic aesthetic.
