' A simple story about simple art born of the heart'.

I am a self-taught artist who has been married for almost 39 years and I have 2 grown daughters who are pursing their creative dreams.

From a young child I loved to draw and tell stories. However I lacked confidence to pursue my dreams of becoming an artist and a writer so instead I majored in Social Work. Later I went back to graduate school to become a teacher and it is while teaching second grade that my desires for art and writing began to resurface. Several years later I took a local drawing class and from there I taught myself to paint. I combine my love of story telling and art by writing and filming the stories behind the paintings and the lessons they taught me.

My art is sold locally and internationally through my Etsy shop and through Fine Art America as well as through local art shows.

Two of my favorite quotes are by Pablo Picasso, 'It takes a very long time to become young.” and by George Bernard Shaw, "We don't stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing.
