I am the mother of four grown children, grandmother of 10, and great grandmother, selling the items I make with love allows me to spend my days with my grandchildren. My Daughter is helping me create new and fun items that are great for the entire family. As a team we have fun, laugh a lot and critique each other. We are always looking for a fun way to wear things.

I make each item with someone special in mind, and I hope my items find your loved ones.

**MY CURRENT LEAD TIMES**
My items are finished products and ready to ship. If you would like a custom order I will happily create a 'CUSTOM ORDER' listing to be prepaid. Unless it is stated otherwise in a listing, my current lead time is approximately 1 - 2 weeks on custom orders. Transit time is additional. If you need something sooner contact me prior to ordering and I will let you know if I can help - most often I can! If your order is for a special occasion please make a note of the date in the "message to seller" at checkout.


THE BLUE MAGNOLIA

I offer "True to age sizing". This means that most children (Newborn - 8 years) will wear the size that corresponds to their actual age. Girl's sizes 10 - 14 yrs run similar to the higher quality clothing lines sold in stores. Once your child reaches half way to the next age I recommend ordering one size up (this especially applies to infant sizes 3 - 24m). If you'd like help with sizing, include your child's height, weight and age (in years and months) in the message to seller at checkout.

When designing clothing for children I always incorporate sizing flexibility features and factor in growing room. This makes getting the right size easier and also provides extended fit so that children can wear my clothing for a very long time!

For hard to fit children I also provide custom sizing. Contact me prior to ordering to discuss what measurements I will need you to supply.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

All of my garments go right in the washer and dryer. To keep them looking new I recommend cool water wash and a med/low dryer setting. Hang dresses and skirts when dry or nearly dry. Iron on steam setting if desired. ( More often than not I even hand dry my clothing then press)

If the fabric has a special finish, such as a gold or pearlescent overlay (I will let you know in the listing) I recommend turning it inside out and washing on a gentle cycle.

My entire line is made of fine quality 100% cotton fabrics. Because cotton knit fabrics shrink substantially when first laundered I pre-wash all of my cotton knits. The high quality woven designer prints I use shrink only minimally, if at all. I add a little extra room when sizing my garments to allow for any residual shrinkage.
