Whenever I was out shopping, I noticed it was very difficult to find jewelry that was fun, interesting and made well. I worked at a movie studio as an accountant and really needed jewelry that would add life to the usual corporate casual attire. Frustrated by the lack of unique jewelry, I decided to start making jewelry I liked using natural semi-precious gemstones.

I started making designs that show off the natural characteristics in the gems and wore them to work. People began to take notice of the bright gems and requested pieces for themselves. Then they requested gifts for their loved ones for holidays or special occasions. I received feedback that the recipients were delighted and wore the jewelry immediately. That was the turning point when I realized this was a lot more fun than accounting.

During those early years, I discovered how much I enjoyed and loved being a part of celebrating these moments with people. It gives me a great sense of completeness and purpose to know I am contributing to people’s happiness through cheery, colorful designs.

Each design’s inspiration comes from something I’ve seen in nature or my interpretation of vintage jewelry designs. Overall, the jewelry collection has a natural and organic feel. The designs are artistic and practical, so that they can be enjoyed and worn everyday.
