Handmade woodworking products

I have been working with wood most of my life. I am a self-taught carpenter and had a long career owning my own company as a custom home builder. After many years of this I am now semi-retired so this gives me plenty of time to work in my shop.

I love working with raw logs and wood to see what I can create from them. All the log items in my shop my wife and I have harvested from our local dead standing forest. Most of the wood is aspen and cedar. We enjoy hiking the forest and looking for the exact trees that I can work with.

I also enjoy making custom furniture. I have made several pieces for ourselves as well as pieces for several customers. My favorite wood to work with is oak, but I do like all hardwoods. Just wish we had more of them up here in the mountain country.

So, I spend most of my days in my shop creating items for you and your family. Thanks for visiting and contact me with any questions you may have.
