Welcome to Uniquely You Jewellery! All jewellery is designed and created by me in Haarlem the Netherlands. I only use high quality wood and stone. I am always making new items so do come back often.

PayPal is my preferred choice.

If you're purchasing via direct checkout (credit/debit card) I will start making your items once payment is cleared. This can take up to 5 business days depending on your banks policies.

Custom orders (orders that are not in the shop or orders that require a large quantity) a non-refundable deposit fee is required which will be agreed upon. Once the non-refundable deposit is paid I shall start making your creation!

In very rare cases, people are asked to pay a customs tax fee, this fee varies from country to country - this is the buyers responsibility and not mine. There is no custom tax fee to countries within the EU. Please be aware of your own countries policies and thresholds. Below are three of my most popular international order countries thresholds.

AUS: You may be charged a custom tax fee plus a handling fee from your local postal services if the purchase amount is higher than $1000 AUS Dollars. www.customs.gov.au/site/page5549.asp the link will have more information for you.

CAN: You may be charged a custom tax fee plus a handling fee from your local postal services if the purchase amount is higher than $20 CAN Dollars.

USA: You may be charged a custom tax fee plus handling fee from your local postal services if the purchase amount is higher than $200 US Dollars.

Shipping

Postage in the NL is €1 with a 25c charge per added item. Items will arrive approx 2-5 working days from dispatch. Items bought after 4.30pm on a Friday (GMT) will be dispatched on the next working day.

There is no postal service on Sunday's & Monday's in the Netherlands.

International shipping: €3.00 - €18.00 depending on where. Items will arrive approx 7 - 24 working days. Delays may occur due to customs. In very rare cases, people are asked to pay a customs tax fee, this fee varies from country to country - this is the buyers responsibility and not mine. There is no custom tax fee to countries within the EU.

Unfortunately the Dutch postage system is very expensive on some of my bangles as they come under the small parcel rate. I understand this is very expensive so I combine shipping for more than one item and will refund the difference if the cost is less. (Either way it will always be cheaper than collecting the item yourself! :))

I don't make a profit from the postage cost. The cost covers, postage, gift wrap, protective wrap and packaging. I try to be as environmentally friendly as possible by re-using packaging.

I use Netherlands domestic and air mail, first class and first class international priority. Tracking is possible at a higher charge.

Some of my items are made to order. Depending on the size, please allow up to 3 - 14 working days for the items to be made and dispatched.

Care Instructions:

Please take care of your wood jewellery! Depending on wear, gently polish your jewellery with a clear organic beeswax every 6-9 months to keep it's luster. Occasionally you may need to gently clean any stone items, using soapy warm water. Please do not ever submerge the jewellery.

If you're buying any of my stud/post earrings, the butterfly backs in time will loosen. This is easily fixed by gently squeezing the loops together on the butterfly back to re-tighten. A lot of people throw away perfectly good earrings because they do not know how to re-tighten their stud/post earrings!

If you're buying any of my sterling silver, silver plate or gold plate items, do take care of them! Silver tarnishes naturally over time and can be easily cleaned to bring the shine back by simply wiping it with a warm soapy cloth or with a gentle metal cleaner. Please do not submerge the items into water.

This Privacy Policy describes how and when I collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from me, contact me, or otherwise use my services through Etsy.com or its related sites and services.
