5 out of 5 starsI own several bags from Johanna and this one is possibly my favorite yet. The fun thing is its versatility. I can wear it as a backpack of course, but most often I use the top strap and hook it over the crook of my arm. It has tons of inside pockets as well, fun color blocking on the back, and a sturdy zipper. It’s such a quality bag.

5 out of 5 starsI am not the kind of person who normally spends this much on a bag. In fact, I don't think I've ever spent more than $200 on an outfit! I consider this bag a prized position, because it's handmade and includes a panel of hand-woven wool in an antique pattern used to make blankets or coverlets. I am absolutely in love with this functional work of art!

5 out of 5 starsI waited for months, throughout the lockdown, checking my Instagram feed for updates on the backpack sale. Then finally, they were posted on the store and I was lucky enough to snag one! It's beautifully crafted and for sure a future heirloom. :-)

5 out of 5 starsI love my new handmade backpack! I have two of her tote/purse bags and one cross shoulder bag. She also custom made two clutch bags from my grandmother’s linens. Her work is well done and detailed with long lasting quality.

5 out of 5 starsHaving read an article on Johanna in Our State magazine, I wondered if she could take items from my dad's career as a carpenter and National Guardsman to create a unique gift for my siblings. We based the design on a lineman's bag, using my dad's old nail aprons to provide exterior pockets. Johanna then used his National Guard name patch, platoon patch, and rank insignia to further personalize the bags. Johanna was great to work with throughout the process. She responded quickly and provided both design and price options for consideration. Overall the project took ~2-months and the bags were delivered well before my Christmas deadline.
