What is 'knit & felt'?

'Knit & felt' is a term I use to describe the process of knitting a project really big, loose and sloppy-like on larger-sized needles. Then the knitted object is thrown into your washing machine for a cycle or two in which it shrinks down to that nubby, boiled-wool look and shape.

What is needle felting?

Needle felting uses a sharp, barbed needle to consistently poke wool roving into either a 3-dimensional shape or a 2-dimensional flat design. It is a great tool for embellishing and adding whimsical detailing to your felted sculptures.
