Announcement    I'm an artist living and working in Lancaster, UK. Known as AWM professionally (Adrian Wesley Martin), I attempt to paint every day, mostly landscapes, seascapes, still life and portraits, preferring Oil paint as a medium. Living in the Northwest of England provides plenty of inspiration from the sublime splendour of The Lake District, to the Industrial past evident in the crumbling red Accrington brick factories of yesteryear. After graduation from Art College, and taking time to raise a family, I resumed painting, taking a lead from the ‘Daily Painting’ movement, which arose stateside in the mid 2000’s. I strive to push myself artistically and technically in order to gain traction in a demanding environment.
