Welcome to Astrella DeVille Millinery. I am a prop maker by day and a milliner by night. All of my hats are hand blocked and hand stitched. I use a wide variety of materials, most are traditional to hat making but some are a bit more unusual and more commonly found in prop making. My hats (and tastes) range from the sophisticated to the theatrical, from kitsch to tasteful and I tend to work and produce in 'ranges', which are all generally linked either by a common material or theme. Most of my hats are one off's, but I can reproduce some, due to owning the original wooden blocks used, so a reproduction is more dependant on the whether the fabric or materials used for decoration are still available.
