Men's collection 2008 / 2009 - Handwoven Scarf in Pure wool - Colm

Description

This scarf has been woven on an 8 shaft hand loom. It's 100% pure wool, constructed of approx. 60% Shetland and 40% Arran wool, both from a Scottish mill (Hunters of Brora).
The Arran wool has been felted with soap de Marseille and finished so that it is incredibly warm, but the wool is not tickly.
Like "Oisín", "Colm" has two sides. One side is flat with stripes, the other has little raised tufts of felted arran.

It is 69.5 inches (177 cm) long and 15.25 inches (39 cm) wide.

It can be hand-washed or dry cleaned.
For hand-washing, use a non-bio washing powder or washing soap, in 40ºC (hand warm temperature) and DO NOT agitate too much when washing! Rinse in warm water.
Can be rolled up in a towel and "squished" to remove excess water and then flat dry.
DO NOT machine wash: DO NOT tumble dry.

The wools in the scarf are a combination of mossy green,dark trafalgar blue, and dark aqua green.
