I am so excited for camping! The snow has finally melted in my neck of the North East (oh, and it did take a while, let me tell you) and we are now planning and prepping for family camping and those wonderful nights of just sitting staring at the fire and sharing time and stories with friends. As an homage, I create "Campfire" and wonderful orange colorway in which the yarn is given an all-over dunk in a bath of orange and then spatter dyed with red and wine/eggplant. This will create a wonderfully random speckled effect in your finished knitting. This particular batch was colored on "Perfect" and I also have a separate listing for one skein of Merino/Nylon Classica.
*Perfect is my favorite sock yarn -- soft and cushy with a lovely twist, this yarn knits up quickly on size 1 or 2 needles. It is ever so slightly thicker than the normal fingering at 350yrds to 4oz and creates the most wonderful fabric. (I use size one needles with an average tension.) This is a 100% superwash merino yarn.
As with all Sereknity yarns and fibers, this is dyed with high quality acid dyes and carefully set for colorfastness.
