It was a dark and stormy night... when I came across this horrific scene.

Ok - it was bright daylight, and I was just out cycling, but nevertheless it's still a mystery!

The second and third photographs shown in this listing were signs found at the scene which may offer clues:

Perhaps Harry was smoking?

Was he killed by a frustrated gnome-gourmand?

Who killed Harry the Gnome? (And why do I feel the compulsion to name him Harry?)

Somewhere out there in the peaceful streets of Tuggerawong, Australia, a gnomicidal maniac stalks unapprehended.

Be afraid.

Be very afraid.
