Loving Nature ... Cyclamen Leaf Necklace

My Cyclamens are doing very well this year! Every spring I put them out in my flower beds, and let them grow with natural sunlight and rain. In the fall I bring them in and they always bloom very nicely for me within a very short time. This year, I chose some of the most luxurient and interestingly marked leaves, pressed them into a special book, and let them dry. This one kept its colours very well I think. Note the wonderful marbled effect of the heart-shaped leaf.

I created this pretty little Cyclamen Leaf pendant without the use of any forms or molds.

The pendant is made out of translucent Fimo Polymer clay, cured according to manufacturer's directions. I affixed the dried leaf with Delta Ceramacoat, and after it was dry I applied 2 more coats of Delta Ceramacoat to ensure longevity. The necklace part itself is a very nice, leaf green organza ribbon looped throught the pendant.

It measures approximately 1 3/4 inches in diameter (3.5 cm) The ribbon is 13.5 inches long (34.5 cm) from pendant to clasp. It is a total of 27 inches (69 cm around, from end to end.

Please, keep in mind, fimo clay sculptures are not toys. They are meant to be decorations.

Please treat it as you would any figurine, with care.

This item is NOT recommended for Children.

It will be properly packed with batting to protect it during shipping. When you have received it, please wait a couple of hours to allow the clay to acclimatize to your temperature and humidity before opening the package.
