Licorice and deep sea blue tea bowls

Description

Porcelain tea bowls, deep licorice base, breaks brown over the edges, sky blue inside, sea blue created by the overlap of the glazes, very intriguing depth to the glazes. The cups have a slightly different profile from each other, but they each hold just about one cup. Price is for a set of two cups.

All my work is hand-made from stoneware and/or porcelain. After the pieces are wheel-thrown or hand-built, they are fired first in a bisque fire, then glazed and high fired in an electric kiln. All glazes on the insides of containers are food, microwave and dishwasher safe. (I do use lusters and metallics on the jewelry that shouldn’t be put in the microwave!!) I’m happy to be a member of the Etsy Mud Team.

Keep in mind that each piece is unique, I can use the same techniques and glazes but there will be differences in the final outcome. This is one of the joys and adventure of creating in clay.
